Chapter 2. Technical Requirements

Below is a list of the supported software versions necessary to start working with Flamingo.

2.1. Supported Java Versions

  • JDK 1.5 and higher

2.2. Supported JBoss Seam Versions

  • JBoss Seam 2.1.0.GA and higher

2.3. Supported Adobe Flex Versions

2.4. Supported Spring Framework Versions

  • Spring Framework version 2.5 and higher.

2.5. Supported JavaFX Versions

  • JavaFX SDK 1.2

Tip

To build projects by Maven you should define JAVAFX_HOME environment variable.

2.6. Supported Java ME Versions

  • Java ME - Sun Java Wireless Toolkit 2.5.2 and higher.

2.7. Supported Android Versions

  • Android 1.5 SDK and higher.

2.8. Supported Java Widget Toolkits

  • Swing JDK 1.6 and higher

We assume the list can be incomplete and absence of your environment in the list does not mean incompatibility. We appreciate your feedback on platforms that are not in the list but are compatible with Exadel Flamingo. It helps us to keep the list up-to-date.
